Aren’t you tired of swiping in the hopes of running into a specific someone you have an existing, lingering curiosity about? Here’s your chance to be brave—to take the active route instead of the passive one. Let’s connect again. (Entries may be minimally edited for clarity.)
Krampus Parade
We ran into each other at the Krampus parade. I hadn’t seen you in years and maybe this is me just trying to live out my Christmas romcom fantasy, but I hope we run into each other again under the mistletoe.
XOXO Gossip Girl
I wish I didn’t have to tell your girlfriend I saw you stay behind after close to flirt with the bartenders at your favorite bar on Magazine, but someone has to and I know you won’t.

HAPPY BLUMTIDE
We watched grown men play Beyblade from opposite sides of the coffee table at Blumtide. I wore a denim dress and sat alone on the couch while waiting for my friend to return from the bathroom. I looked up and saw you were blowing me kisses. I wanna know if that was real or if I was just high. Either way, I’d let you rip.
Outside the Soon-To-Be Chicken Shop
You were sitting outside the soon-to-be chicken sandwich shop with a cup of coffee and a little to-go box. We exchanged smiles and you waved. I was having a bad day until then. Thanks for that.
Adam Outside Anna’s
I stopped to pet your dog outside Anna’s, then tried to tell you how to assert dominance over her by lowkey humping her, then we watched some fucked up dude drop his clip (we thought it was a phone) and then fumble and start pointing his gun at the deep lez crowd outside Big Daddy’s—without a moment’s hesitation you ran to stop him and i can’t stop thinking “what a man, what a man, what a man… what a mighty good man.”
Let’s take Maria out to City Park sometime?
Young Allies at Unión Migrante training
I am not sure if you read ANTIGRAVITY, but if not, hopefully your parents or other adults in your life do (if your parents are cool enough to let you attend a Unión Migrante training, they are probably cool enough to let you read ANTIGRAVITY). A friend and I attended the film ICE/know your rights training on 12/2 and we were so impressed by both of your knowledge, passion, and activism, and your concern for your classmates, friends, and neighbors. You give us hope for a better future, but I also hope that we adults don’t put the burden all on you. You deserve a better world, one in which you and your friends do not have to worry about being kidnapped by ICE or any of this.
