Eight of Swords § The Star § The Sun

External circumstances have changed and the figure in the Eight of Swords is able to free herself. She takes that all important first step toward her own freedom and The Star appears to do what must be done to strengthen the figure’s self-concept.

The Star conjures her medicine from mirrors; she makes us watch ourselves get through tense times or old patterns surfacing again. The Star insists we watch ourselves use our survival skills. It might feel like faltering, but a good strategy is ignoring the stumble to favor highlighting the rebound. The Sun is the light of knowledge, of gnosis, and it suggests we analyze what we learn from The Star or prepare to repeat our history again and again.
